To answer both questions about SAMSON…I was told about his will by curtis Harrington who knew Samson better than just about anyone in Hollywood as they saw each other regularly. Curtis was also a miser so it took one to know one. His nephew emailed that the sum was less but still well over 2 million.

As far as the journals who knows if anyone but Samson could ever read them well enough to trascribe his spidery handwriting.

What makes you say when Samson died there was 5 million dollars? How would you know this? Where is the money?

Thanks for the great piece about Samson De Brier.
Since he left behind so much money, didn’t he make a provision for some of it to be used to publish his journals?
