In one swashbuckling film, O’Hara, disguised as a boy, fought her way to the battlements, jumped down 15 feet to the ground and continued dueling without losing a beat. The stunt team stood by stunned.

A marvelous mixture of softness and high spirits, O’hara played the true blue wife or the madcap village lass with equal dexterity and appeal. She was also at home with period pieces which nicely set off her sensational figure.

Was he a noble hero or a tragically flawed hero? A dejected and weary gunfighter or a cold-blooded executioner? Most likely the truth about Earp will never be known, but Hollywood will continue to provide its versions. (To read Part 1)
